Madison Metropolitan School District High School Redesign
Description
Education Leadership and Policy Analysis faculty members Allen Phelps and Bruce King, and two UW graduate students, worked with the Madison Metropolitan School District to study high school redesign. The study resulted in a successful district-wide Small Learning Communities grant proposal.
Outcomes
The project team provided analysis and interpretation of the High School Survey of Student Engagement given in all five MMSD high schools. The team worked with school and district leaders to conceptualize goals, strategies and evaluation plans for the Small Learning Communities grant proposal.
