Wisconsin Idea Executive PhD in Educational Leadership
Description
The Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis (ELPA) offers this new degree through a cohort program that will focus explicitly on preparing K-12 leaders on how to dramatically improve student performance and close the achievement gap. The program is designed to fit the schedules of educational leaders around the state by holding classes during the weekend throughout the academic year and during the week in summers.
Outcomes
The program aims to provide advanced training to future district-level leaders in Wisconsin. The goal is to link district leadership around the state to high student achievement, with the intent of closing the achievement gap.
