Silatronix, Inc., a Wisconsin Start-up Company

UW-Madison Professor Robert Hamers has co-founded a company, Silatronix, Inc. that is integrating organosilicon electrolytes with nanostructured electrodes to create safe, environmentally friendly lithium-ion batteries.

Outcomes

Polyron Materials is a startup company, and successful completion of this research will lead to the creation of jobs in Wisconsin.
