Public Affairs 881: Cost-Benefit Analysis

Teams of students in Public Affairs 881, Cost-Benefit Analysis, conduct cost-benefit analyses of interest to clients in the public sector and nonprofit organizations. Recent clients have included the Dane County Clerk's Office, Jefferson County District Attorney's Office, Justice 2000, Inc., the State Bar of Wisconsin, Madison Area Bus Advocates, the Village of Fox Point Director of Public Works, Department of Health and Family Services, and the Wisconsin Initiative to Promote Healthy Lifestyles.

Outcomes

Projects assess the economic efficiency of continuing or expanding social service, criminal justice and transportation programs.
