Midwest Alliance in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math

The Midwest Alliance offers high quality, supportive programs designed to guide students with disabilities throughout Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa more efficiently and effectively toward careers in STEM-related fields. Its staff comprises research educators, scientists, engineers and student disability service providers from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the University of Illinois and the University of Northern Iowa. The alliance accomplishes its goals by addressing system impacts, indirect support of students (such as teacher training), and direct student support through mentoring, an internship programs, and hosting events and other activities for students and their family members.
